Our brief was to create an engaging space, that advocates considered, small scale living. Joinery details have been carefully shaped to allow as much storage as possible, while maintaining an open feeling to the light-filled apartment. We have carefully considered not only aesthetics and storage, but also importantly, how to live healthfully, and how design practices can benefit the wellbeing of the resident.
The beautiful herringbone reclaimed solid oak flooring, all natural paint with only naturally occurring raw materials, recycled fabrics and plastics, and human centric lighting, are a few of the ways we have meticulously responded to the need for the spaces we live in to promote health and wellness.
Ecologically, we have engaged the use of sustainable building practices as well as materials. Our design focuses on low carbon, resource efficient, healthy and productive design implementation for a space that will continue to benefit its inhabitant for years to come.
